Group Therapy
Group therapy is counseling for a group of people that is generally geared towards a specific topic, such as anger management, improving self-esteem and social skills, as well as a multitude of various topics. It is typically used in conjunction with individual therapy. It allows members to work through their problems by sharing common issues in a group setting and getting support from others.

Participating in group therapy can offer you a network of support and encouragement. Group therapy allows you to hear – firsthand – others’ experiences and feelings. With that, you may come to find that you are not alone in your feelings and that there are others like you.

This therapy usually consists of groups of 6 – 8 people with sessions held via telehealth on a weekly basis for a specific length of time, such as 8 – 10 weeks.
